FOUR LAYERS OF NOTHING

To fit in, we do a lot of crazy things. One being; forgetting who we are or where we come from. We cover ourselves with a layer to blur this fact so that we easily build relationships with others. We take on a layer to show the world we can do almost everything, even things we know deep down that we are scared to do. To fit in, we abandon the people who love, care and support us on any day for the people who like us because of what they have seen or heard. We then play the blame game when things go wrong. We change our attitude to suit society's expectations just to be admired and recognized. You cannot cover a scar with a piece of cloth and expect the scar to disappear when the cloth is removed. In fact, the cloth does nothing to the scar so it should be appreciated as it is. We can be groomed to be someone else, but, we will still have a piece of us in every move we make because there is nothing like hiding who we are. No one can be you in anyway just as you...
