What I have always wanted; life, family, smiles, growth and development. Most of us want the same thing,but, we have stood by and watched as these things slide by in the past few months. We are in the most difficult times of our lives. Many lives have been lost already and we don't know when or how it will end. This period has taught us how precious life is and those of us who still have it should protect it in the best way we can, because we have one life to live, just one. We still have the chance to live life to the fullest by suffering its short term and enjoying its long term. Corona virus has done enough harm to the world already, let us stop the spread by practicing all the safety precautions as directed by the World Health Organization (WHO); washing our hands regularly, using an alcohol-based hand rub, keeping a social distance, wearing nose mask and gloves, whiles avoiding the touch of our nose,eyes and mouth. To fit in, we do a lot of crazy things. One being; forgetting who we are or where we come from. We cover ourselves with a layer to blur this fact so that we easily build relationships with others. We take on a layer to show the world we can do almost everything, even things we know deep down that we are scared to do. To fit in, we abandon the people who love, care and support us on any day for the people who like us because of what they have seen or heard. We then play the blame game when things go wrong. We change our attitude to suit society's expectations just to be admired and recognized. You cannot cover a scar with a piece of cloth and expect the scar to disappear when the cloth is removed. In fact, the cloth does nothing to the scar so it should be appreciated as it is. The reaping stage. Many people are reaping the good seeds they sowed days and years back, in probably their businesses , their innovative ideas or their source of finance. It's obvious how we are eager to get there ourselves to reap like most people. Due to this, we have learnt every single thing about them and how they got there because we want to do everything like them in order to get there. But, life has no pattern, there isn't some kind of queue we are to join in order to be great. We can't work, and sweat by following every single thing someone did in order to get our expected results at the end of the day. So, you still want to sweat in line? Please DON'T!.  I don’t know about other colors, but I know there should be a piece of black in all of us, just a piece. Without it, many people will suffer, others will starve, some might even die. Well, black here refers to all our negative attitudes. Yes! Our negative attitudes, and one of them is a piece, selfishness. We are drowning with people we are supposed to save, dying with people we are supposed to heal and crying with people we are supposed to cheer because we do not have a piece of black at that point. We obviously allow ourselves to feel that way because we expect too much. We were placed on earth for a purpose, so, we should do our best with happiness and pleasure. Grass is expected to be green and it is actually supposed to be green. I mean no other colour, but green. Do you agree? This is what society demands of us and we do not hesitate to meet its demands. There are laid down rules, which somehow draw a picture how society wants the future to be. There are patterns which we are to follow in order to attain the standards society has set for us, but, we have no idea what this does to us. Our passion is cleared and our vision, blurred.
